The Balancing Act on Lifetime with Vianna Sitbal

The following segment aired on “The Balancing Act”.  Joining the show was Vianna Sitbal to discuss Thetahealing.

The Balancing Act: Our next guest has written a series of books on a healing technique she found called, Thetahealing.  The foundation is built on connecting with the creator to aid in physical and emotional healing.  Vianna Sitbal joins The Balancing Act this morning as part of our "book author" series.  Good morning to you.

Vianna Sitbal: Good morning.

The Balancing Act: Good to see you.  So, why did you write these books?

Vianna Sitbal: The books are written because there are actually classes that I teach. So we put them into the books for our students, and now we just released them to the world.

The Balancing Act: What is Thetahealing?

Vianna Sitbal:  Thetahealing is a technique that I founded eighteen years ago. I didn't realize it could heal the body until I had a spontaneous remission from cancer.  I found that not only did I have a spontaneous remission, but it could be taught to other people and they, too, could have some remarkable results with their physical well-being.

The Balancing Act: You talk about being healed from cancer. As you know, there are skeptics with everything, but there are probably some skeptics out there watching The Balancing Act who are saying "A spontaneous healing from cancer through Thetahealing—how does this work and can this work?”

Vianna Sitbal:  Well, people have spontaneous remissions all the time. They’re documented by their doctors who don't know why they heal.  We found that we can trigger the body to do some remarkable things and that people had some remarkable results.  We believe it's because of a theta brain wave, the brain wave that you go to when you're sleeping or when you're dreaming.  Your brain suddenly can do amazing problem-solving when it releases the growth hormone. It releases serotonin so we know that it has a lot to do with that brain wave.  The technique that we discovered triggers you into a deep meditation wave that would have taken you days of fasting or deep hypnosis or being asleep to get to and we figured a way to do it in seconds.

The Balancing Act: Tell “The Balancing Act” viewers if Thetahealing is a type of hypnosis?

Vianna Sitbal:  No, it's not hypnosis. It's a meditation, but it does seem to take you to that state, very deep. The key factor, of course, is the fact that we use visualization, but we use one key word. We use the key word of god or creator or however you believe in the creator. When we use that word, it takes the brain a notch down into sleep state and that itself is remarkable but they have to believe that there is a creator, a god, intellectual intelligence, an intelligence of the universe, something that we are connected to, a universal spirit, knowledge, intelligence.

The Balancing Act: So, you have to have that core belief in order to start this healing?

Vianna Sitbal:  Yes, and most people do have the core belief, even if they say they believe in god, really what they don't want to believe is the god, the punishing god, but we believe that we are interconnected.  We have to, science says we are.  We're connected to molecules and atoms and we're made of these things and there's a life force that brings this intelligence to us. The remarkable thing is that you can teach anybody that believes in a god, so I've been able to teach Buddhist monks, Catholic priests, and Hindu swamis. I've been able to teach every religion that I knew about. So far, deep Christian beliefs make it really easy for people to do this healing and even if they just believe in a universal mind they can do this technique with great success.

The Balancing Act: For somebody out there watching The Balancing Act who may be going through something physical, who may be going through something mental and is intrigued by Thetahealing, what's the message? What would you like to leave them with?

Vianna Sitbal:  Well, I think that the key is that we can use this to help us in our life. We found a way to work with the subconscious and get it working for you. If I had a message to leave with those watching The Balancing Act it would be that you're all connected to an energy of all that is. We really are connected and we know it on a cellular level that people's brain waves really go to a certain place when we use this technique and say the word god. We're not alone. We are part of something.

The Balancing Act: Fascinating stuff.  Good to see you this morning and thank you for stopping by to tell our The Balancing Act viewers about your techniques.

Vianna Sitbal:  You bet.

The Balancing Act: Vianna Sitbal’s books are called "Thetahealing" and "Advanced Thetahealing". There's also a Thetahealing DVD as well. For more information on Vianna or Thetahealing, please visit the website, thetahealing.com.

O2 Media’s “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime with Juan Valdez and Juan Esteban Orduz

The following segment aired on O2 Media’s “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime Television. Joining “The Balancing Act” was Juan Valdez and the President of the Colombian Coffee Federation in North America, Juan Esteban Orduz. They were here to discuss Colombian coffee with our viewers.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act Host, Marybel Rodriguez: Coffee, the potent elixir, is loved and craved all over the world. It’s the most popular beverage in America, next to water, of course. And if you’re not a morning person, it’s definitely a necessity.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: Here at “The Balancing Act” we’re with Juan Valdez, and the President of the Colombian Coffee Confederation in North America, Juan Esteban Orduz, to talk to “The Balancing Act” viewers about Colombian coffee. What can you tell our viewers about Colombian coffee?

Juan Valdez: It’s the best coffee in the world.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: Whyis Colombian coffee the best in the world?

Juan Valdez: I can assure everyone watching “The Balancing Act” that it is the best. We grow coffee all over the country—in the Andean Mountains, three different mountain chains, the volcanic soil in the Andes, Sierra Nevada, Santa Marta, in the Caribbean, and in Southern Colombia. In every mountain, every valley in Colombia, we grow coffee. That’s why Colombia is called the Land of Diversity.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: Now, here in America, we call our coffee experts “Baristas.” I know that Juan is a cafetero. Talk to “The Balancing Act” viewers about that.

Juan Valdez: Cafeteros are the Colombian coffee growers. They are the ones who grow and pick by hand the 11 to 12 million bags that Colombia exports every year. So, when you see Colombian coffee being the best coffee in the world, it’s because they do it with love, with care, and they make sure that the environment is not affected. When you go to every coffee municipality in Colombia, you will see hundreds of Juan Valdezes. You will see that they have their best friend, the mule, taking down the coffee from the mountains to bring it into the town to sell it.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: Can you tell “The Balancing Act” viewers about the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia? What does it do, and what has it accomplished?

Juan Esteban Orduz: The federation was founded in 1927. It’s been around for more than 80 years. It was founded when a group of Colombian coffee growers got together to make sure that they could defend equality to improve the livelihood of all the coffee growers. It’s a democratic institution when people are elected to be members of the federation.  Colombia is the only country that has two crops every year, so we can give the market, all the world, the best-quality coffee, with consistent quality, the whole year round.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: How is coffee grown and produced in Colombia?

Juan Esteban Orduz: Coffee is grown in Colombia by the coffee growers and the families. The average farm in Colombia is four acres, unlike what people think. It’s not a huge farm business. They have small farms. Everyone in the family helps. They pick the beans. They dry the beans. They put them in the bags and they deliver them; it’s processed in machines on the farm.

O2 Media’s The Balancing Act: So, I did my research for this piece, and although antioxidants are found in blueberries, tomatoes, broccoli, and even green tea, I read that coffee is the number-one source of antioxidant consumed from coast to coast. What other benefits does coffee have for us?

Juan Esteban Orduz: Coffee has more soluble fiber than orange juice. Coffee is good to prevent colon cancer and Diabetes 2. Another good thing about coffee, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to drink it. All you have to do is go to the supermarket, look for the right brand, look for the 100% Colombian coffee logo, the man, the mule, and the mountain.
